Articles (23,000) are selected from these periodicals and provided with annotations.

The oldest magazines date back to the early nineteenth century.
Some of the magazines, in particular those published between 1870 and 1940,
are available on microfilm.

Archives of women's organisations and individual women

This collection contains approximately 400 archives dating from 1870 to
the present day, and reflects the character and history of the Dutch women's movement.
In addition there is a collection of unpublished egodocuments of 169 women:
diaries, letters, memoirs and autobiographies.

Posters, photographs (18,000), slides and postcards
Part of this material is historical, but the IIAV also has extensive visual
materials from the start of the second feminist movement.
Most Dutch posters have been photographed and reproduced as slides.

available at the IIAV, which will provide
a social map of the women's movement in the Netherlands; international addresses
of women's information services and resources.
