Throughout 2001 the IIAV and Isis-International Manila
teamed up to facilitate a global meeting of organisations who work to stop violence against women. The results
are among other things a policy guideline for good practices in this field. Participants in the e-conference,
initiated by NOVIB and
Oxfam UK, were the 150 partners of these two
donor-organisations in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe.
The IIAV built the web site supporting this e-conference and collected bibliographic materials from all the participating organisations. From 2004 the Novib has developed its own site on violence against women gbv.novib.nl/en/, using much of the material developed by the IIAV and Isis-International.
